I attended Sam Houston State University, where I recieved both my B.A. and M.ED. degrees.
I coached 6 years at the college level at Sam Houston State University, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and Catawba College as the Defensive Coordinator. I coached at Baytown Jr. High School, Clear Creek High School in League City, Willowridge High School in Houston, Alief Elsik High School in Houston, Klein Oak High School in Spring, Conroe High School, and North Shore Senior High School in Houston. At North Shore, we finished with a 49-4 record overall and won a 15-0 State Championship in 2003. Our defense was #1 in the state that year. I have coached defenses that were ranked in the top 10 in the Houston area at the last 4 schools, as well as having the MVP of the district at all 4 schools.
In 2007, SPHS went 9-3. With that, we won the District Championship in 14-5A and also our first playoff victory over Bryan 49-20. We were ranked in the top 25 in the state of Texas at the end of the year while playing the 8th toughest schedule in the state.
My wife, Phyllis, graduated from Texas A&M University with M. Ed. in Counseling. I also have a daughter Chloe, who is 8 years old.

I began my coaching career at Irving High School in Irving, Texas. I was a Varsity Football Assistant and Head Track Coach for 3 years. After Irving, I went to Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas as a Varsity Football Assistant and Freshmen Boys Basketball Coach for 3 years. I have been at Brewer High School in Fort Worth, Texas for the past 2 years, serving as Special Teams Coordinator, Defensive Passing Game Coordinator, and Varsity Track Assistant.
My family and I are excited to be Tigers and are looking forward to an exciting year.

My wife, Jennifer, will be teaching 2nd Grade at Teravista Elementary School in Round Rock. My son, Luke, will be in Kindergarten and daughter, Avery, will be in Pre-K.

I graduated from Rio Vista High School in 1988, and then went on to graduate from Tarleton State University in 1999.
I have been coaching high school football for 9 years: 2 at Spring High School, 3 at Mineral Wells High School, 2 at Era High School were I was the Defensive Coordinator, and 2 years at Stony Point High School. I also coached 2 years at the college level at Tarleton State University.
I have been married for 9 years to wife, Penny. We have 2 boys Jake (8) and Nick (5). My wife is an elementary teacher at Caldwell Elementary in Pflugerville ISD.

Coach Daryl Reeves has been a member of the Stony Point coaching staff since the 2002-2003 school year, and is currently the Running Backs Coach. He also serves as the Academic Coordinator while teaching Web Design. Coach Reeves is thrilled to get the opportunity to teach and coach in his hometown of Round Rock -- a 1996 graduate from Round Rock High School.
Coach Reeves went on to play baseball at North Lake Junior College for two years after high school. After receiving his Associates Degree at North Lake, he went on to Texas State University to earn a Bachelors of Business Administration in Business Management.
Coach Reeves has ties to Stony Point that help him bleed blue and gold. His younger sister, Amber, is a graduate of '04 and was a three year letter winner for the Volleyball team, and his younger brother, Taylor, a graduate of '03, was active in the Theatre Arts Program.
Coach Reeves and his wife of 7 years, Kelley, have two sons, Colten and Carson.

I grew up in Houston, Texas and attended school at North Shore High School. I graduated from the University of Houston were I played football and earned degrees in Business Management and Business Marketing. I went on to coach football and baseball at North Shore High School while getting my Masters degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake. I was then offered the WR coach/ Business Education teaching position at Stony Point High School, where I spent one year. I then left Stony Point to become an Assistant Principal at North Shore High School. I spent one year in administration and realized I missed coaching. I was fortunate enough to return to Stony Point as the WR coach.
I have a wonderful, supportive wife named Valerie Hopkins who teaches Elementary School in Leander. I have two beautiful daughters Paige (2 Yrs) and Kate (9 months).

I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science degree and in 1974 with a Masters in Education degree.
I've coached at Knox Jr. High School in the Woodlands, McCullough High School in the Woodlands, Klein Oak High School in Spring, Conroe High School, and Deer Park High School. I've been at Stony Point for 4 years and am currently the Head Coach for Track & Field and the Head Freshman Football Coach.

In 2008, Coach Tom Collins will begin his 10th year as a member of the Stony Point football coaching staff and will be working with the Freshman Offense.
Stony Point is the sixth stop for Collins, who will be entering his 20th year in the profession. His football coaching experience includes being a member of the Tyler John Tyler High School coaching staff in 1994 where the Lions captured the 5A Division II state title with a perfect 16-0 record.
Coach Collins graduated from Houston Sharpstown High School, earned his bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, and earned his Master’s degree from Baylor University. He serves Stony Point High School as a math teacher and as the school’s head baseball coach as well.
The Greater Austin Sports Association honored Coach Collins in May of 2006 as that group’s Coach of the Year.
Heath Walz -- Freshman Coach

This is Coach Walz’s fourth year at Stony Point High School, and his third as a baseball coach. In 2007, as the JV Blue Coach, he compiled a record of 10-17. His overall record is 26-31.
Coach Walz graduated from Ellis High School in Kansas. He went on to play baseball at Brown Mackie Community College for one year. He then transferred to Southwest Texas State University to earn a Bachelors degree in mathematics. Coach Walz was in the United States Army Reserve, where he obtained the rank of sergeant. Coach Walz is also a freshman football coach.
Coach Walz and his wife, Linda, have 3 wonderful kids. Maddie is 7. Donny is 5, and Emma was born on August 24, 2007.

I attended McNeil High School and played baseball my freshmen year of college at McMurry University in Abilene under Lee Drigers. I then played the next three years at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor under Mickey Kerr and was the Team Captain. While there, I received a Business Marketing and Teaching degree.
I have coached football and baseball for 2 years at Western Hills High School in Fort Worth. This is my second year at Stony Point. I am excited about the 2008 football season, and am very enthusiastic about the potential and talent here in the Stony Point High School football program!

Kneuper has been associated with numerous NFL players and coaches, and also national tournament teams in football, baseball, and softball. He has placed students in major division I universities, as well as many other schools in the state of Texas.
He likes his truck and his job. His favorite colors are blue and red. His favorite number is 13. His favorite food is any food except Mongolian beef sushi.
His hobbies include outdoor activities and all sports, but not watching them on TV.

Linda Bowman graduated from Rio Hondo High School and then Texas A&M-Kingville.
Coach Bowman worked at Kingsville High School as an assistant athletic trainer for 2 years and then as the head trainer for one year. Coach Bowman has been an athletic trainer at Stony Point High School since August 2000.
Coach Bowman and her husband David (also an athletic trainer) have 9 year-old twin boys - Charles and William - and a 3 year-old daughter - Kabrina.
Jim MacKay -- The Voice of the Stony Point Tigers
Jim begins his 14th year of announcing high school athletics and his second season with Stony Point High School. Jim is also the head coach of the Stony Point High School Bowling team and the District Coordinator for the North Austin District of the Texas High School Bowling Association. He is a member of the National Association Of Sports Announcers and a member of the Positive Coaching Alliance, both organizations dedicated to fostering and promoting good sportsmanship and good citizenship on and off the field.
In addition to Stony Point Football, Jim has announced for the following venues:
- Little League World Series, 2001 through 2005
- School football, basketball, soccer, swimming and track
- State regional playoffs (football, track) and state finals events (football)
- USA Gymnastics at the state, regional, National and international levels
- Grand Rapids (Michigan) Alliance Men's semi-professional soccer team
- Round Rock Pop-Warner Football (Colts)
Jim has been published in The Voice Above The Crowd, a trade publication for Public Address announcers, in 2004.
Jim is married to wife Jan who is also Jim's spotter during the games.
