Freshman Gold/White Scrimmage
Due to low numbers, our Gold and White played each other and did well. They will scrimmage this Thursday vs Lampasas @ 4:40 pm.

Hutto High School
Freshman White Loses a Close One
Our White group dropped a game vs Hutto 8-0. We played well defensively and moved the ball offensively but could not punch the ball in to score. Our guys played hard and we will let you know when/where the game will be next week asap.

Freshman White Drops One to McCallum
Our Freshman White group lost last night to McCallum's only Freshman group. We had costly turnovers vs a better team that cost us. Our guys will play Georgetown next Thursday @ Georgetown @ 5:30 p.m.

Freshman White Tie Georgetown
Great all around game by the White team! Everyone played outstanding the entire game!
On offense Silguero had a beautiful touchdown pass to Rimann. The O Line played great with key blocks coming from Giessregen, Clayton, Gaige, Overs, and Horan. Ricky Garza lead the team with 91 rushing yards.
The defense played lights out the entire game. Coley and Leon stopped the running game all game, and Garza, Holloway, and Ramon Garcia plugged up the holes on the inside. The linebackers had lots of big hits by Guzzi, Hailes, and Galacia. Also Jackson, Young, Ford, Muldrew, and Sockwell all had amazing plays knocking down passes by Georgetown.
The final score was Stony Point White 6 - Georgetown 6.

Freshman White Win vs Georgetown
Our White group improved to 2-2-1 for the year with a quality win vs Georgetown. They came back from a 12-0 score at half to win 14 - 12. They did a great job! They play Johnson City's Freshman group here at 4:00 on Thursday next week.

Freshman White Drop One
Our White group lost to Johnson City's JV group 20-0. We could not get anything going offensively and the defense played well the second half. We are now 2-3-1 for the year. We will let you know who and where we play asap next week.

Belton High School
Our White Beats Belton
Our White group defeated Belton 27-6 in a dominate fashion. We were up 14-0 at half and cruised our way to a victory. It was our best performance offensively this year and the defense did very well. The White is now 3-3-1 for the year and plays Travis Freshmen at Nelson field next Thursday. Great job!

White Goes Down vs Travis' Freshmen
Our White group came up short 40-12 vs Travis' only Freshman group. We had 2 opportunities to score inside the 5 yardline but came up short. Our guys are now 3-4-1 on the year and play Georgetown next Thursday at Georgetown.

Freshman White Win Over Georgetown
Offense: The offense was impressive with several big runs from Garza and Jesus Flores each scoring long touchdowns. Garza ended the game with 80 yards rushing and Jesus Flores with 91. Victor Lovings had an impressive 20 yard run on 4th down and 2.
Defense: The defense pitched a shutout! Galicia and Guzzi hit hard all game. Justin A Jones had a great fumble recovery. Keith Muldrew and Chucky Sockwell played well. Mercer and Prince played lights out.

Salado High School
Freshman White vs. Salado
Offense: Played a tough game, with Zack Wade completing several deep passes.
Defense: The defense played hard all game. Guzzi and Holestead came up big with 8 tackles each. Keith Muldrew and Zack Clemmer played tough iron man football on offense and defense, with several long receptions and big tackles.
Final score was Stony Point White 6 - Salado 31.
