Freshman Blue/Gold vs. A&M Consolidated High School Scrimmage

Our 1st team won 5-1 vs A&M Friday. We looked good on offense overall. Our defense made big plays at opportune times to shut them out. Our 2nd group won 3-0 and played well. Our JV Blue won 4-1 and looked good. Our Gold tied 1-1. Our Freshman. looked good winning 6-4 and our Freshman White looked good vs Temple's B team. We play Alamo Heights this Thursday @ 7:00pm at the Palace and Friday our Freshman are at home @ 5:30pm and 7:15pm. We have had good practices and are excited to see where we are at in non-district versus a good Alamo Heights ball club.

Freshman Gold Gets Victory

Our Gold group won 22-6 vs San Antonio's Alamo Heights for their first victory. They played very well in the game. Great Job!

O'Bannon had a 65 yard punt return for a touch down.
Raynolds blocked a punt and Hart recovered for a touch down.
Russell had a key interception.
Morello and Dollente together had 203 rushing yards.
Anderson had a perfect pass to O'Neil.
Stone had a rushing touch down.
Final Score: Alamo Heights 6 - Stony Point Gold 22

Freshman Gold vs Pflugerville Connally High School

Freshman Gold Win Again

Our Gold group defeated Pflugerville Connally 34-0 in dominate fashion. Both sides of the ball played very well with the defense recording a shutout! They are now 2-0 for the year. Great Job!!

Offense:
In the first quarter, Mitchel Anderson had a pinpoint 48 yard touchdown pass to Zachary Callaway. Braizon Fresch opened up an outstanding 38 yard touchdown run to give the Tigers some insurance for the game. In the second quarter, Chris Waters had to tough rushing touchdowns. Then in the fourth, LJ Dollente had a blazing 31 yard touchdown run that sealed the game. Shawn Stone also ran the offense very well through out the game.

Defense:
Kyle Toruta had a fumble recovery in the first half. Willy Lopez had a key interception that kept the Tigers on top. On top of that, Migael Palacios had a very big fumble recovery that finished off the Connally Cougars.

Final Score was Connally 0 and the Stony Point Gold Tigers 34, which brings the Gold record to 2-0.

The Gold Tigers play next week in Waco, playing the tough opponent Waco High School.

Freshman Gold vs Waco ISD

Freshman Gold Now 3-0 with Victory Over Waco

Another solid performance by the Stony Point Gold defense! Reynolds, Wearsing, O'Bannan, and Willy Lopez all had fumble recoveries. Nate Anderson had a scoop and score fumble recovery for a 41 yard touchdown! Dodge played lights out all four quarters on defense.

On offense, the Tigers got it going in the third quarter with a 58 yard touchdown pass to Callaway. In the fourth quarter Chris Waters had a hard seven yard touchdown run. TJ Dollente, TJ Anderlohr, and Stone had great games!!

The final score was Stony Point Gold Tigers 20 - Waco 0.

Our Gold group continues to play great defense in recording a shut-out victory last night 20-0 over Waco. They played well offensively as well. We are open next week. Next game for the Gold Tigers is against Westwood. Great Job!!!

Freshman Gold Now 4-0

Great district win for the Stony Point Gold Tigers!

On Defense, Connor Dodge and Kyle Toruta had fumble recoveries, and Kyle Toruta had an interception. One of those fumbles was caused by Weersing. James Hart and Connor Dodge played lights out all four quarters, with Dodge having a sack and Hart having two sacks. Palacios had many hard hitting tackles.

On Offense, Stony Point got on the boards with a 6-yard Touchdown run by the quarterback Mitchel Anderson. Chris Waters' first touchdown run was a 27-yarder with a great block by TJ Anderlohr. Chris Waters also had a 6-yard touchdown run, and a 26-yard touchdown run. LJ Dollente and Domonic Morello had great runs and great blocks all game. TJ Anderlohr had a great 9-yard reception that gave the Tigers a first down when they really needed it. Riley Ortego, Paul Ross, Conor Schindel, Cameron Smeltzer, and Cole Mitteness played lights out with great blocks all four quarters.

Final Score of the game was Westwood 8 - Stony Point Tigers 25!

Our Freshman Gold won 26-8 in dominating fahion last night over Westwood. The defense has not allowed any points this year and the offense controlled the game throughout. This group is now 14-0 including last year!

Geat game by the Stony Point Gold Tigers!

On defense, Dustin Plattor caused a fumble and recovered a fumble. Kyle Toruta had a key fumble recovery, and James Hart played well on the DLine all game. Tarik O'Bannon had a solid punt return for a touch down!

On offense, Mitchel Anderson had a 37-yard touch down pass to Zachary Callaway. TJ Anderlohr had a solid 6-yard carry, and LJ Dollente had a great 8-yard run. Dominic Morello had a quick 67-yard touch down run to start off the third quater. Christopher Waters had a 14-yard touch down run to cap off the Stony Point Tigers Gold victory with a hard block by Conor Schindel to guide him in. Eric Koehlmoss had two pancakes on the line, and Riley Ortego blocked great all game long. Shawn Stone also lead the team very well in the second half!

Final Score Stony Point Gold 27 - Leander 7

Freshman Gold Lose to Georgetown

Offense:
Shawn Stone and Mitchel Anderson both lead the offense well. Zachary Callaway had a huge 47-yard catch by Mitchel Anderson. Paul Ross had some key blocks, and Dominic Morello played hard. Chris Waters had a nice 9-yard touch down run, and LJ Dollente had the two point convestion reception.

Defense:
The Stony Point Gold Defense played very well, with Kyle Toruta having an interception and a BIG HIT that forced a fumble. Damian Bustillos had a scoop and score that put the Tigers on the board. James Hart also had a fumble recovery.

Final Score was Georgetown 37 - Stony Point Gold 14

Our Gold group lost for the 1st time in 16 games in a sloppy game. We had way too many turnovers to allow them the opportunity to score.

Freshman Gold Wins over McNeil

On Defense, Rudy Alvarez had a punt block. Cody Hollinshead and Artie Gomez both had fumble recoveries. All four quarters the Tiger Defense played solid.

The Tiger Offense played lights out all game. Aaron Abadiano, LJ Dollente, and Dominic Morello all had huge blocks along with TJ Anderlohr and Conor Schindel with big blocks that led to touchdowns. Chase Hernandez had four touchdowns, with a 63-yard touchdown being the longest of the night. LJ Dollente had a great 3-yard touchdown, as well as Chris Waters. Mitchel Anderson had a great pass to Braizon Fresch that made 43 yards. Also the entire offense of line played amazing all game!

Final score Stony Point Gold Tigers 42 - McNeil Mavericks 0.

Our Gold group cruised to their 6th victory with a 42-0 victory vs McNeil. We dominated both sides of the ball throughout the night. We are now 6-1. Great Job!!!!!!

Freshman Gold Roll Over Cedar Park 48-0

On Defense, Paul Ross and Migael Palacios both had great fumble recoveries. The entire Tiger Gold defense played lights out all four quarters!

The Tiger Gold Offense played hard all four quarters. To start the game off, Chris Waters had a quick 48-yard kick return. Shawn Stone had a great 41-yard touchdown run to give the Tigers the lead. In the next drive, Dominic Morello had a great block that lead the way for Chase Hernandez to score on a 25-yard touchdown run. Mitchel Anderson had a pin point 21-yard touchdown pass to TJ Anderlohr. In the second half, the Tigers did not let up any. In the first drive of the second half, Chase Hernandez had a fast 20-yard run to give the Tigers a 28-point lead, then followed by a 12-yard touchdown run by Chris Waters. Mitchel Anderson then had a 9-yard touchdown run, and Chris Waters finished off the night with a 28-yard touch down run that had great blocking by Conor Shindel and LJ Dollente.

Freshman Gold vs Round Rock

Gold Wins vs Round Rock 13-0 - District Champions Back to Back!!!!!!!!

A great way to end the season! On defense, Rudy Alaverez and James Hart both had sacks. Gabriel Alvarez had a fumble recovery, and James Hart caused a fumble and had a fumble recovery. Overall, the defense played lights out the entire game and shut out the Round Rock Dragons. The offense started out red hot! Second play of the game Braizon Fresch had a 38-yard pass on a reverse to Michell Anderson for a first down. Chase Hernandez had a 19-yard touch down run to put the Tigers in the lead and they never looked back. The following drive, the Tigers scored on a 20-yard touch down pass from Mitchell Anderson to Dominic Morello to put the Tigers up by two touch downs. Cole Mitteness and Colin Kampge had great catches. Pablo Valencia, Conor Schindel, and Riley Ortego had great blocks all game long. TJ Anderlohr had a great reverse run for a 14-yard game. Everyone played their best game of the year for the Gold Tigers. The Stony Point Gold Tigers won 13 - 0 against the Round Rock Dragons, making the Gold Tigers 9-1 overall on the season and making the Gold Tigers District Champs!

Our Gold finished the year @ 9-1 winning vs Round Rock 13-0. We played very well on defense and the offense got it done when it needed to. We are now 19-1 the past 2 years with this level! Great Job!!!!!!!!!
