JV Blue vs. A&M Consolidated High School Scrimmage

Our 1st team won 5-1 vs A&M Friday. We looked good on offense overall. Our defense made big plays at opportune times to shut them out. Our 2nd group won 3-0 and played well. Our JV Blue won 4-1 and looked good. Our Gold tied 1-1. Our Freshman. looked good winning 6-4 and our Freshman White looked good vs Temple's B team. We play Alamo Heights this Thursday @ 7:00pm at the Palace and Friday our Freshman are at home @ 5:30pm and 7:15pm. We have had good practices and are excited to see where we are at in non-district versus a good Alamo Heights ball club.

JV Blue Dominates Alamo Heights

A Dominating Performance by the JV Blue Tigers in San Antonio put Stony Point on the bus coming home with a 48 to 0 win. Jihad Johnson had scores in the first quarter from 8 and 12 yards out, Fernando Gutierrez was good for the extra point on the first. In the Second quarter, the Tigers added two more touchdowns, a 15 yard Reception by Cody Ronk from Gus Barrera and another 4 yard touchdown plunge by Johnson. David Ramming added a 2 pt conversion catching a fade in the Back of the Endzone from Barrera. The Third quarter started out with a 82 yard Kickoff Return by Jevon Neal, Gutierrez good on the PAT. Tevin Earthman added a Score late in the Third to put the Tigers Up by 41 After the Guiterrez PAT. Johnson added a 28 yard touchdown in the Fourth to end the scoring, again Gutierrez was good. The Tiger Defense was outstanding with exceptional play All, highlighted by interceptions by Bralon Taplin and Erik Bakos.

Our JV Blue defeated Alamo Heights 48-0 in convincing style. We had a great defense and our offense was good as well as the special teams. Great Job!

JV Blue vs. Pflugerville Connally High School

JV Blue Wins 40 - 14 Over Pflugerville Connally

Another impressive performance by the Tigers brings the JV Blue Record to 2-0. The Offense was lead by a host of Characters. Jevon Neal Lead all scorers with 2 touchdowns -- one receiving, a 60 yard strike from Andrew Brown, and one rushing, a 25 yard reverse. Chris Mills rushed for one, a 53 yard run that looked like a short gain but a powerful burst through the Connally defense found all defenders behind him. Gus Barrera and Tevin Earthman each added scores from 6 yards. The Tiger Scoring was finished off by Jeff Brown's blocked punt scoop and score from 42 yards. After surrendering one Special Teams Score and One 1st half ending hail marry touchdown, Stony Point shut out Connally in the Second Half to seal the Victory. Great Defensive Effort was put forth by Defensive Linemen John Andrews and Monday Akinbode as well as Linebacker Steven Robinson and Defensive Back Trevor Caswell.

Our Blue group dominated Connally last night in a very good game for both sides of the ball. Our defense allowed one score with the other coming on Special Teams. Our offense moved the ball throughout the night and we had several nice runs. We are now 2-0.

JV Blue vs. Waco ISD

JV Blue Wins 35-17 Over Waco

Another good performance by the Tigers brings the JV Blue record to 3-0. Gus Barrera was a solid leader at QB for Stony Point, having two scores to his name, a 65-Yard strike through the air to Jevon Neal, and an 18-yard TD run late in the fourth quarter. Running Back Chris Mills added two touchdowns of his own, both from 2 yards out in the first half. Rounding out the Tiger scoring was Mike Dixon's 35-yard Interception Return. Fernando Gutierrez was good on all PAT. The Tigers are off next week, and return back to Action September 25th at Westwood to start district 16-5a.

Our Blue group continues to do well sans a few palyers that have moved up to the varsity. Our offense was explosive but not consisitent. Our defense played well giving up 10 points total.

JV Blue to 4-0

Another Good Night for the Tigers! Chris Mills has Four Touchdowns all Rushing, Gus Barrera Throws two Scores to Tevin Earthman, and Sam Kelley rushes for a touch. Theo Ringer, sold at Receiver all night, pulls in a 2-point Conversion. Trevor Caswell and Fernando Guiterrez each added a PAT. The Tiger Defense was outstanding, limiting the Westwood offense to 5 first downs on the night. Trevor Caswell and Skylar Scott each have interceptions, and the Defensive line of Monday Akinbode, Benny Pentoja, Victor Odigihbor, and Darius Kinney put pressure on the Warrior QB all game. The Tigers are back next Thursday against Leander. The Tigers are 4-0.

Our Blue group dominated this game with another shutout while scoring at will. They are now 4-0 for the year! Both sides played very well and made many plays throughout the night. Great Job!!!!

JV Blue vs. Leander

JV Blue to 5-0

In Like a Lion, out Like a TIGER. The Leander Lions opened up the Game with 14 quick points within the first 2 minutes of the football game, but Stony Point Stormed back putting together 3 solid quarters, and scored the last 35 points of the contest. Gus Barrera at QB was good for the offense, as usual. Good Offensive line play came from Kevin Finch, and Dhalston Cage. Tevin Earthman, and Chris Mills were solid in the Backfield, as was Theo Ringer and David Ramming at Receiver. Trevor Caswell, Chris Spikes , Mike Dixon, Stephen Robinson were all solid on D.

Our JV blue ran its record to 5-0 for the year with an exciting come from behind victory 35-14. We were down 14-0 in the 1st quarter and scored 35 unanswered points from that point on. Our offense played well and the defense stiffened up for the rest of the game. We had many outstanding plays made by both sides of the ball.

JV Blue vs. Georgetown

JV Blue to 6-0

It was all Tigers from the Opening Kickoff. Stony Point opened up the game on Offense with a 60-yard run after catch from Daniel Beasley to set up Chris Mills' 2-yard Touchdown run go to up 6-0. Rounding out the Scoring were David Ramming's 2-yard Touchdown Reception, Mills' 20 and 4-yard Touchdown Runs and Trevor Caswell's 30 and 21 Yard FGs. Paving the way were Offensive linemen Kevin Finch and Dhalston Cage. Mike Dixson, Steven Robinson, and Kenny Odunaiya proved strong defensively. The two lone Georgetown Scores came late in the Game off Two Trick Plays. The Tigers are 6-0.

Our offense dominated the game and the defense gave up 2 TD's in the 4th to go to 6-0 for the year. We were clearly the better team. Great job!!!!!!

JV Blue vs. McNeil

JV Blue to 7-0

A Shaky start for the Tigers ended with a Stony Point Rout. The Tigers were down 6 - 0 to start off the Game and Stormed back, Scoring 5 Touchdowns to McNeil’s 3. Solid offensively were QB Gus Barrera, WRs Theo Ringer, Josh Lemay, David Ramming, RBs Tevin Earthman, Chris Mills, and Offensive Linemen Kevin Finch and Dhalston Cage. Defensively, the Tigers were held together by CB Bralon Taplin and LB Kenny Odunaiya. Mike Dixon was strong on Special Teams. Stony Point is 7-0.

The JV Blue won 40-25 vs McNeil to go to 7-0 for the year. We played very well offensively and hung in there on defense. Great Job!!!!!!!

JV Blue vs. Cedar Park

JV Blue to 8-0

On a Chilly night in Cedar Park, The Stony Point Tiger JV Blue Team played an all around solid game and came home with another win 32 - 14. Gus Barrera proved strong again at QB, having a 53-yard rushing Touchdown and throwing for Two Touchdowns, a 23-yard strike to Theo Ringer and a 12-yard Toss to Tevin Earthman - while also adding a 2pt conversion completion to Josh Lemay. Running back Chris Mills also had a rushing touchdown from 7 yards. The Defense, led by a strong line backing crew of Eric Garza, Stephen Robinson, Matt Turner, and Tai Odunaiya, kept the Timberwolf offense stagnant for most of the night. Stony Point's Special Teams also pitched in with block punt, scooped and scored by Austin Mercado. The Tigers are now 8-0.

Our Blue group won 30-14 in a well-played game by both sides of the football. We are now 8-0 for the year. We had many outstanding performances on both sides of the football. Great Job!!!!!!!!

JV Blue vs. Vista Ridge

JV Blue Wins vs Vista Ridge

A few mistakes by Stony Point gave Vista Ridge hope early in the Contest, but the Tigers prevailed by settling down and playing fundamental football. Total team dominance, with solid play from all. JV Blue brings their record to 9-0 with the 48 - 0 win. The last game of the season is against Round Rock at home next Thursday.

Our Blue team rolled to an easy victory 48-0 over Vista Ridge. We had many people do well and we did a good job on both sides of the ball. We are now 9-0 for the season. Great Job!!!!!!!!!

JV Blue Go Undefeated!!!!!!!! DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!  Beat Round Rock 25-6

A Great TEAM Victory puts the Tigers at 10-0 for the Season. All Members of the Team played solid. Tigers lead at half 15 - 0, scoring on a 5-yard run and a 88-yard touchdown strike through the air. Stony Point added a 53-yard touchdown run and a 29-yard Field Goal in the Second Half. Great Victory and Congratulations to the JV District Champs.

Our JV Blue group defeated Round Rock 25-6 to finish as The District Champions and go undefeated 10-0 for the year. This is an all time record for the JV level! We made big plays on the offensive side of the ball throughout the night and our defense played physical and tough the entire game. What a great accomplishment to be 10-0 in this district! Great Job!!!!!!!!!!
