Freshman Blue Win Over RR 40-0! DISTRICT CHAMPIONS!

Our Blue group finished up strong, going 7-2 on the year and winning the Freshman District Championsip 40-0 with a running clock in the 4th quarter. This team really came on, scoring 48.0 points per game in their last 4 games. Great Job!!!!!!!!

Vista Ridge

Freshman Blue Wins Big over Vista Ridge 56-6

Our Blue group continues to roll, scoring an average of 50.3 points per game in their last 3 contests. We manhandled Vista Ridge 56-6 in a game that became unmanageable, so we ran the clock the entire 4th quarter. We are now 6-2 on the year and take on Round Rock next week. Great Job!!!!!!!

Cedar Park

Blue Wins vs Cedar Park 35-7

Our Freshman Blue won convincingly for the second straight week vs Cedar Park 35-7 with a running clock the entire second half. It was the second game in a row we have lit the scoreboard up. Our defense did better this week as well. We are now 5-2 on the year with the margin of losses being 6 and 3 points. Great Job!!!!!!

McNeil

Freshman Blue Win 60-34 over Previously Unbeaten McNeil

Our Blue group showed up and played our best offensive game of the year in exploding for 60 points vs McNeil. Our defense played better than the score indicates, the McNeil offense was averaging ~ 52 points per game. Our offense was unstoppable and we corrected our issues that had been plaguing us up to this point. We are now 4-2 on the year with the 2 losses being by 3 and 6 points. Great Job!!!!!

Georgetown

Freshman Blue Win 30-8 Over Georgetown

Moose Ahrens scored on T.D runs of 35,61,14,and 8 yards. He also ran for a two-point conversion and threw for two more. Dominic Woodson and Alec Cochran were on the receiving end of the 2-point plays. On o-line Kylr Plattor, Austin Edgeman, Scott Morales, Chris Valenzuela, Jordan Hockett, Aaron Leggit, and "Tank" Pendleton played their best game blocking for 375 yards on offense. Marcos Curry, Devon Wofford, Grant Klump, Agustine DeLa Fuente, and Domonic Woodson led the defense to hold the Eagles to 8 points. Antony Leis' kickoffs kept the Eagles pinned in poor field position.

Our Blue moved to 3-2 on the year with a victory over Georgetown's B team 30-8. Great Job!!!!

Blue Drops a Close One 6-0

We lost at the end of the game to Leander 6-0. Our defense continues to play well and we are still in search of an offense. Our kids could easily be 4-0 but are 2-2 for the year.

Blue Survives in a Close game vs Westwood

Our Blue team won 14-13 in a very close game. Our offense continues to struggle but did enough to win. We continue to play good defense though. We are now 2-1 for the year. Great Job!!!

Blue Drops a Close One

Our Blue group came up short vs Vandegrift 9-6. Our offense needs alot of work while our defense played fairly well. We look to get back in the win column next week at Westwood.

Waco

Stony Point Freshman Blue 13 - Waco 0

The Tiger Freshman Blue Football team punished the Waco Lions with a 13-0 shutout defensive effort. Jamal Lewis scored from 3 yards out and Jeisson Boriack added the extra point. Devon Woffard intercepted a Lion pass and returned it 18 yards for the score. Grant Klumpp and Taylor Bailey each intercepted Waco pass attempts. David Scott was a force for the Tiger defensive unit by recovering a fumble and providing constant pressure on the Lion quarterback. Marcos Curry was solid at the linebacker position for Stony Point. Christian Ahrens and Alec Cochran each had a number of impressive runs for the Tigers.

Blue Game Canceled Due to Bad Weather

Our Blue game was called vs. Connally because of bad weather. We play Waco here @ 7:30 next Thursday.

Blue Game Canceled Due to Lightning

Our Blue team's game was canceled due to a storm that came in the third quarter. We were down 22-19 and things looked good for us in the rest of the game until the storm came up. We have alot of work to do to get better and we play Connally this Friday @ 7:30 here. Great Job!!

Blue Dominates Scrimmage 6-1!

Our Blue group won 6-1 in dominating fashion. They did a great job. They play San Antonio Alamo Heights this Thursday there @ 7:00. Great job!
