Vista Ridge
JV Blue moves to 8-1
Our Blue Group won 22-19 over Vista Ridge in a game that we should have won by more. Our offense gave up 1 TD and set them up for another in a rather sloppily-played game. Defensively we did well for the most part. This group is now 8-1 on the year and 10-0 last year! Great Job!!!!!!!!!

Cedar Park
JV Blue Dominates Cedar Park 34-7
The Stony Point JV continued it’s winning ways on a chilly Thursday night at Stony Point High School. A strong "bends but don't break" defense lead by Safety Brian Jacquet limited Cedar Park to a lone 2nd quarter touchdown. On offense, QB Brain Cramer was in the spotlight. Cramer accounted for every Tiger touchdown - throwing for four and rushing (12 yds) for another. Braizon Fresch had two touchdown receptions (61 and 54 yds), David Ramming (6 yds) and Tae Howard (22yds) accounted for the other two. Charlie Waters was solid for 4 out of 5 extra points. Tigers are set to play Vista Ridge next week on the road.
Our Blue group won convincingly 34-7 vs Cedar Park to improve to 7-1 on the year. We played very well on offense and the defense did its part as well. We are now 17-1 over the last 2 years with this team! Great Job!!!!!!!!

McNeil

Georgetown
JV Blue Win vs Georgetown
Our Blue team responded very well and defeated Georgetown 23-3 in a masterfully-played defensive game. Our offense did a great job moving the ball throughout the night. Our record is now 4-1 for the year.

Leander
Blue Loses 28-0 vs Leander
The last time the JV Blue lost a game, it was in 2007 visiting the Leander Lions - 17 games and two years later, the Tigers left with a similar outcome. A less than stellar performance by the Stony Point Offense combined with Big Plays given up by the defense lead the Tiger Defeat. Tigers look to improve on their 3-1 record next week as they host a tough Georgetown JV Team.
Our Blue group got torched 28-0 vs Leander to move to 3-1 for the year. Our Blue team was 13-0 prior to this game including last year.

Westwood
JV Blue Goes to 3-0
In a night filled with Tiger mistakes, Stony Point JV Blue found a way to beat Westwood at home 21-20. The Tiger defense was stellar, only giving up 6 points late in the fourth quarter - and stopping the warriors on a big 2-point conversion. LB Scottie Tatum and DE Brandon Jones lead the Tiger defense with strong performances. The Stony Point Offense opened the game up by turning the ball over on consecutive possessions, giving Westwood a 14 - 0 lead, then came back strong, scoring three touchdowns - Dustin Beasley, Tae Howard, and Tyler White accounting for all scores, Charlie Waters was good on all kicks. The win brings the JV Blue's record to 3-0.
Our Blue group now is 3-0 with a close victory over Westwood 21-20. We should have won by more, but turnovers plagued our guys. the defense played well until the end of the game, where we allowed a big play on 4th and 7 from their 20. We denied their 2-point play for the victory. Great Job!!!!
