Important Playoff Practice Information -- ALL TEAMS
ALL teams will continue football practice while our Varsity team continues through the playoffs. The following is current as of Monday, November 5th, but will likely be revised by the coaches as necessary.
JV Blue and Gold teams will continue with their usual practice schedule during and after school. A group of JV players will be invited to join the Varsity team during the playoff games.
Freshman Blue, Gold, and White teams will practice only during their school athletic period. A group of freshman players will be invited to join the after school practices with the JV and Varsity.
If our Varsity makes it to the second round of the playoffs, practices will continue through the Thanksgiving holiday. On Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, November 19th & 20th, practices will follow the usual schedule during and after school. On Wednesday and Thursday, November 21st & 22nd, school is out, but practices will be held in the morning. The playoff game would be either Friday or Saturday, November 23rd or 24th.
Players should ask their coaches if they have any questions.
Need Help at Freshman Tailgate
We need volunteers from around 4:00 pm until ~8:00 pm (the first half of the Blue game) to help feed the kids:
- Blue team parents - please try to show up early to help while the Gold game is in progress.
- Gold team parents -- please try to stay to help during the Blue game.
- Varsity parents are welcome to help at any time - this would be a great way to see the future Tigers in action!
- Any JV parents who could help at the 4:00 pm hour before going over to Dragon Stadium would be much appreciated, too.
If anyone has any questions, please contact Gene at 848-1733.

Game Recordings
A decision has been made by the Stony Point High School Football Booster Club Board with the support of Coach Chessher to allow Blue Chip Productions, http://bluechipaustin.com/, to film all of our football games. There is no charge to us or the football team for this service. DVD’s of each game as well as an “overall season” DVD will be made available for purchase to any parents, fans, the general public or members of the opposing teams. 10% of all of the sales of the DVD’s will be donated back to the Booster Club to benefit the football program. These DVD’s will encompass all aspects of the overall football game experience and are designed to appeal to the entire fan base as well as the team, band, cheerleaders, dance team, etc.
